Part 4: Controller Assembly:You can now start to re assemble the controller. This may take a while depending on how well you remember taking it apart. (This is why we told you to remember how you took it apart to begin with!). Be sure to place the plastic curcuit you peeled off earlier back on durring this stage. Try to replace it as close to the original position as possible. If you have any extra wires from your LED that are exposed, tuck them in under the controllers circuit board.

When the controller is re assembled, turn it on and your LED should power up!

If you have done everything correctly, you now have a modified Sixaxis Controler with an LED on the PS button! If not, well - it may cost you a new controler.
Some poeple have asked how it affects battery life. The answer is simple - it doesnt really affect the battery at all. LED’s have a very very low need for power. If it were to be left on, your controler would have enough power when fully charged to power the LED for around 8 days straight. It will probably only shave off around 3 - 4 minutes of time from the battery when gamming non stop.
