Founded in 1995 as DreamWorks Interactive (DWI), the studio responsible for such top-selling PlayStation titles as Lost World: Jurassic Park and the highly-acclaimed Medal of Honor. After a two-year publishing partnership with DreamWorks Interactive, EA acquired the company in February 2000 and renamed it Electronic Arts Los Angeles. In 2003, that studio merged with EA Pacific ( Irvine, CA) and Westwood Studios ( Las Vegas, NV) to form the new EALA.
