A group of games software developers in Yorkshire came together to create Game Republic. Game Republic has been set up as a not for profit company specifically tasked with creating an environment that allows studios producing games software in the Yorkshire and Humber region to thrive and grow. We have set up partnerships with several organisations that are in a position to support the studios in our region. These include Yorkshire Forward, Business Link, Screen Yorkshire, UK Trade & Investment and The Department of Trade & Industry as well as all of the universities in our region. We also have an industry affiliates program that facilitates support from format holders and publishers and includes developers seeking partners for the production of gamesinteractive entertainment from around the world.
