Anyone watch the awards? I dont think george clooney should have won for best supporting actor. He didnt even have many lines in syriana. And that movie sucked

I didnt watch it. I'm not much of an awards fan myself. To me its nothing more then a marketing gimick to get a few million viewers to watch their commercials and make them some money. Sure its rewarding some realy great actors, directors, and so on but they blow it into the huge deal making it a pain in the rear end for the rest of the world. I was in a pub while the awards were on. Every TV had it tuned to the cerimony, but I only caught about 2 minuted of the entire show.

I onnly watched a few minutes. I prefer the razzies myself. Besides the public can't even vote on who wins those awards. Hollywood has different ideas than me on film quality too.
