Anyone excited about the star trek online game that is planned? It seems really interesting to me, I played star wars galaxies but they totally ruined that and I really hope star trek online does a good job.God knows when the game will finally come out though.

Soooo glad you already made a post about STO reticulator :) I was about to myself when I saw this one. I have been following whatever details I could find about this game for monthes now and there's finally something to see on Perpetual's site. Dude! I think from what I've seen and read so far that this MMO is gonna be so awesome lol...I'll have to stock up on rations and board up all my doors and windows for at least three years. :D

Yes im really excited about this too. I think star trek is vastly underated and this will take everyone by surprise. Still, the general adolescent and young adult population thinks star trek is for nerds, sci fi geeks.

Star Trek might be an aquired taste amongst peeps, though to me its pretty inspiring and to be honest, a lot of "modern" technology today has roots in the fiction of Star Trek lol, just look at cell phones compared with Captain Kirk's communicator :D

Ok, as a Trek nerd, I have a tendency to have extra interest in ST based games, though more times than not it's dissapointing. This, however...let's just say this looks badass. I wonder how they'll pull it off. Thanks for the link...must read now!
Reticulator I totally agree with you. I love star trek and I think it is so underated. It seems us star trek fans are a dying breed.

maybe so but ya gotta admit that Paramount hasnt givin these post-gen.-X'ers a very good taste of Star Trek yet... time will tell, but the trek will continue

It does seem as star trek is dead, the last tv series has ended due to ratings and there hasn't been a movie since 2002. Maybe the franchise is trying to get back in business through games?
