I really wish they would keep the PS2 controlers for the PS3. There was nothing wrong with them at all. They could have added an extra button or two, maybe spome more padding.

What do you guys think.

It is definatly a nice controler, and functions great. I kind of like the new design myself. I think the new controler will perform better, and I believe there are a few additional buttons or triggers on it. Sony wouldnt put this much money into a controler only to make it worse then the older model. That would be a complete waste of time.

From the looks of things, I prefer the new controler over the old one. It looks futureistic

What I think is:
Nintendo Revoulotions controller is the biggest
PS3s controller is Smaller then he nintendos one
X-BOX360 i find seems to look the smallest.

I find that i like the PS3 controller Much more then the other ones.

I think the new controller looks great.
I heard it helps ergonomically (back problems) because you don't need to stretch to reach shoulder buttons and that it's supposed to be comfortable

The new one looks too ***bersome, Ifd like it if they kept the old one but thats not gonna happen because they want people to BUY the new controller and make more dough.

I think wireless is just a waste of batteries... wired ones dont need to be recharged

Did they add 2 more buttons or is it just me? It seems like they did on the back from the pictures?

I dont know about this controler. It looks like it would be kinda uncomfortable. But I supose you cant really tell until you actually hold it. But if worse came to worse you could always use it as a boomerang.lol

Well at first, I wasn't too thrilled about the new controller. I mean, it looked kinda dumb, and it seemed like Sony was trying to reinvent the wheel (in my opinion, at the time anyways, the DualShock 2 controller was the perfect controller). But then I saw this http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/ps3/ps3-pad-details.html and it changed my mind.

Anyways, it looks like it doesn't matter. Sony is officially redesigning the controller, for two reasons: 1. People keep complaining about how it looks, etc etc. 2. Most importantly, Sony has lost rights to "rumble" (or whatever you want to call it) technology.

Hopefully whatever they come out with will be great, which I'm sure it will be.

P.S. I am really happy about the fact that wireless will become the standard for PS3. I get really sick of being confined by wires...always having to move them so they're not in front of the TV, having them get all tangled up, having people walk between me and the TV and trip over them, and so on and so forth. I just hope that you'll be able to recharge the controller simply by plugging the controller in, rather than taking out the batteries and charging them.

I really dont think that that fan made flash video is going to change many peoples minds. We will all just have to wait and hold it for ourselvs to decide wether or not we will feel comfortable playing with it.

I know that not a lot of news has come out at all, but if you have a black or white PS3 will the controller still be silver... just wondering cuz it would suck if it did

Yeah that would suck. I like my controlers to match my consoles. I know its not a big deal but it just looks nicer that way.

I wasn't a fan of the first controller design and I'm now definitely wishing they'd go back with the first design and put in the sensors. I believe the new design is way too much like the PS2's. I realized how tired I am of that design. I don't know why I am, but man it's just boring. I hope they release both.
