My friend just got his copy of Casino Royale today from amazon and the picture looks really good compared to some of the other BD's out there. He doenst have a 1080p tv but the quality still very vivid and looked great on his 70in projector. The sound is amazing. Although there are not many extras to go along with this great bond movie the BD is still chalked filled with details.

This is a must have BD for those looking to start there own collection or see the promising graphical qualites of the ps3.

And for those australians out there, "The latest giveaway from the Japanese electronics and entertainment company is being promised for the Australia launch for the PlayStation 3 set for March 23 — a Blu-ray Disc version of the Sony Pictures James Bond movie "Casino Royale," for the first 20,000 Australian PS3 buyers."

And Europeans "Casino Royale Blu-ray movie for the first 500,000 PS3 systems registered online in Europe." http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2007/02/12/casino-royale-blu-ray-movie-for-the-first-500000-ps3-systems-registered-online-in-europe.htm

Overall if i had to rate this BD i would give it a 4.6 out of 5 and give it a must buy.

Moved to the OT section. (I know BD has a little to do with PS3, but it really is more appropriate in the OT section)

What frustrates me is that so few movies are available on BD so far. This was a great movie though, I saw it in theaters. I'm not sure I like the new guy as Bond though, If you've already seen it you might know why I dont like him. Nevertheless, I will prolly buy this one on blu-ray. Lucky euros and aussies. We get Talledega Nights, they get Casino Royale. I think we got the ass end outta that one ;)

Yes Definetely if they coulda given us a BD like DodgeBall which is way more funnier than Tally Nights i wouldnt be mad. Oh well we did get our ps3 5 months ahead of them. But the storylines of the Bond movies are supposed to way better since there coming straight out of Iam Flemming books. The actors playing Bond from now and in the future will be another debate.

I personally liked Peirce Brosnen the best for a Bond idk why i just did but this guy seems pretty cool to.
Any way BD moviesw are pretty expensice compared to regular dvd's there like 20$ or somewere around there arent they ?

yea but this one was way over the top compared to the other bond movies, i seriously thought the half of the movie was just gunna be about that part. the tension kept building for a long time. it was awesome
