man, I just rented this game and its so intense and fun. You can pretty much go anywere in the game you want (AND ITS HUGE) and do anything you want like each indavidual person has something different to say. You can steal stuff and sell it, pick locks, pick pockets, steel horses, gladiator tounaments, and like so much more its insane how much i thought they put into this game. Although it gets really confusing at point and how to do stuff but I think its a really good game but you would probably want to rent it first :D

yeah man i love this game, right now im trying to get into arcane university or whatever, and i have one more quest to go, i have to go to some cave so right now i need a little bit of help from my friends and gamefaqs.com

im having trouble with some of the quests....like when you press o on you controller and it brings up all your stuff,go to quests and then press x and it doesnt show the red arrow on my compass to go to , to do the quests so it started to piss me off and now im just kinda screwin around

well you have to go to your quest page click on it, make sure your not on completed quest. and i made a mistake on my last post i had five more recommendations to go, but now i have only one.

woohooo i finally got into arcane university, man it was worth almost dying 5 times.

how do you gte into universitys.....and whats the point does it make you abilitys go up or something?

I'm definately going to pick this game up as soon as I can. I nearly got a 360 just so I could play this game.

well the arcane university is a b1tch to get, soo if you dont mind long and somewhat hard tasks then this is ok, but i have gotten two new levels and three new advancements in the mages guild.
Also you can make spells and enchant items.
Now I am going to finish off all of the mages guild quests and when i reach level 10 beat the grand champion at the arena. Someone told me wait for level 10 then beat the guy becuase you get more and better stuff. Once i get enough money im going to buy a house.

I put my difficulty to easy and then beat all the arena stuff.......were do you get into the fighters guild thing because everybody i talk to in the game says, you can find this person at this place but i always get confused about it

i thought that you could just go to any guild hall, go to gamefaqs.com and go to fighters guild if they have one.
i want to find a money just so i can buy a house, then i wouldn't use it again. hmm anyone know one?

This is definitely on my list to own though, and will prolly be the next one to buy. Great game. If you like RPGs, you'll like Oblivion. If your skeptical, at least rent it. Thats how I was sold :D

Its better to get this for the ps3 cause u get all the downloadable content from the 360 version already in the ps3 game. Microtransactions ruins gaming.

yeah rent first becuase if you dont like then you dont buy it but, negasie i dont even think you could get 10% done this game is sooo long, but i think they should have kept the money glitches, becuase all i want to do is buy a nice house.

lol, I spent most my my first day running from the guards after killing people in their home and taking everything they owned. Didnt even leave them a potato. The stupid husband ran out though while the wife was punching me. If he didnt run out the guards would never have known, if only......

how many hours have you guys played it for now(go to the game and then information) iv played for about 14 and a halk hours :D and yet im probably about 6% done and iv done alot ....well i thought i did

im about 7 or 8 hours in maybe, gotten one portal closed and done lots of exploring. The environment is incredible and it really is freaking huge. I really get the feeling im not 2% of the way in, cus after doing everything that ive done, I know that if i knew exactly where to go and how to do everything, i woulda been to where i am in about 2 hours instead of 8. And from what ive read, if you stick to the storyline and ignore most sidequests, its still gonna take 60+ hours to beat. Anyways Im about to bring back the emperors son now. gonna go play some more :D

The side quests (or so I've heard anyway) really make this game even better. You can do basically anything. You can even become a vampire. :eek:

right now im 15 hours in and 1 min and 45 seconds. its so addicting.

ok im about 30-45 hours in and im lvl 20 and i've got full deadric armor.

I've been playing for 5 ish hours and I'm only a lv 3 but I've been doing a LOT of stuff for the thieves guild. The side quests totally do make it better, I mean, I haven't even gone to Kavach and it's so much fun =D Although the side quest experience sure will help on the main one I bet.

I got the PC verion, it was great, but got a little tedious. I am sure on PS3 I would like it much more; the controller and graphics for a start. Its not out yet though...Is it?

yeah its out, but not for Europe . and elusid, work on leveling up your main skills. i did that and i went from lvl 15 to 20 in hour or so.

Yeah I prob should. I got banned from the Arena though so where else can I go to level up quick? (I wore my own armor twice... woops)

i dont get why the guards arrest me every time i speak to one of them. I could have just been released from serving time in jail, and talk to a guard outside the jail, and he'll arrest me again......I just dont get it. Although it is fun to fight the guards, i dont think thats why they arrest me cus every time i fight with em, they eventually kill me. So i dont get it

well if you steal,kill people, break into places,trespass, pretty much anything you do you get a boutny and the gaurds will always be after you, just duck and if the thing in the middle of you screen is almost invisible than you wount get caught.

oh ya and probably the fastest way to get your level up is to search caves and and kill everybody in it and stuff thats how i always get mine up and it wont take that long

played on 360 and its great i went up to some man and he got about 8 peaple to try and kill me for no reason (i kiled them yay)

yeah i have been playing this game forever and i am having a problem getting rid of vampirism and leveling up. I really dont think this game is for me = ]

oooh ya i got vampirism... forget what i did about it though.

^You have to some kind of weird quests, I never got it and I don't really want to. It's not a good thing.

ya i just woke up one day and it was like... the what ever is complete you are now a vampire blah blah blah

I set my main skills as all of the magic skills, such as destruction,etc.(I cant remember any of them)

But then I just rent a room, for sleeping you know, so my spells dont bother anyone else.

Then I summon something that I can kill with a few spells. Then I kill it will some spells.

This gets up your ressurection skill(idk what it is called) and your destruction.

I also cast the "unlock easy" spell on the door over and over, and it levels up that skll.

I also cast a kind of light spell, so that gets up higher to.

and as soon as you gain a level, your already right there to sleep.

doing this you can gain mad levels, really fast, but it hurts you in the long run, because you are fighting harder enemies, w/o good armor or spells, but after your around lvl 25-30ish? the enemies all wear really good armor, which you can sell at the shop for a load of gold, and buy pretty much any spell/armor....or even make your own!

I've found quite an irritating glitch on the thief mission were you have to steal the old lady's ring back for her from the countess of leyawin her hand maiden keeps dying on me and i cant seem to finish that missin which is killer can any1 tell me how they got round this problem if they had it at all?

How does she keep dying? Is there anyway you can use a spell or scroll to increase her health?

i thought oblivion was pretty fun too... i rented it but then after playing it i decided to buy it..:D:D

I Also have the next game in the series Skyrim.

They're both so fun, such a vast and open world on both.

Bethesda did a really good job.

Oblivion the great action video game. I am fan of it. I have also a great weapon set and you can see it below.
