Is there any chance of Half-Life 2 coming to the ps3? the original half-life come out on the ps2, so why not the ps3?

I haven't heard of any plans for that, but I have it on the comp and thats all I need. It would be wicked hard on the ps3 especially online.

it would cost me a fortune to upgrade my PC and get enough additional memory to play it. (i've got 700 MBs left out of 9 gb and all my files are important.)

Wow you only have 9 gb, I have like 40 and it seems I run out real fast.

Half life 2 itself takes 5gb and thats without steam and css.

I really dont think that Half Life 2 will be coming to the PS3. HL2 is already out for the Xbox and I really dont think that sony would want a port of a last Gen game. HL2 is an amazing game but why wouldnt they just put HL3 on the PS3. I think that would be an awesome idea.

And curlfro, if you've only got 700 MB left on your harddrive, you'd better either clear off a few gigs worth, or look into getting a new drive. Having your drive that full is very unhealthy for your computer, and will likely lead to it slowing down quite a bit.

IMO HL 2 is like between next gen and this gen, but still better than mosst of the 360 games so far. Still it will be ancient by the time the ps3 comes out.

well, i don't have the money to get another harddrive, and almost all of the stuff on my comp are spyware, firewall, and virus protection stuff. i barely have any files on my comp that i wanted on there (i tried getting the demo of photoshop, but i didn't have the space for it)

Yeah we will probally see the next Half Life on the PS3. Oh yeah and its gonna be called HL2: Episode 2. They decided to put the series into episodes. ???
