 It seems in video games that graphic violence is much more accepted than sex. When a game has you chop someones head off and has gruesome violence it will simply get a mature rating and not much fuss will be made since people are desentitized to that. When there is a sex scene in a game, it'll be all over the media and prominent politicians will waste time trying to get it banned or give it an AO rating. I think this is partly because violence is part of our lives since we were very young and also that violent video games have been around for a while but ones thatt show graphic realistic sex haven't. I still think this is retarded though. Sex is a natural act of love and cutting someones head off with a chainsaw isn't.(i can see if its rape its pretty bad but im not talking about that).
From what I've read its pretty much America that feels this way toward games and I think its idiotic.

yeah, this definately should be focused more on. what's the worst thing that could happen if you have sex. you get AIDS. what happens with violence. you kill many innocent people just for kicks because video games couldn't feed your needs.

This is an excelent argument. I LOVE THIS THREAD! Its a dual standard. Violence is seen everywhere and there is no why to control it. Fights in the street, on TV, in movies. Sex is usualy carried out behind closed doors (Well at least most people hope it is).
Ever played Liesure Suit Larry?
Leisure suilt Larry sucks. The entire game is just about geting to see "naked" pixles. If you are that desprarate to see someone naked .............. get help.

Its so funny, GTA San Andreas ( Love this Game) wasnt made to much of a fuss out of, even though its quite violent, but as soon as hot coffee came around they tried to ban it everywhere. sad.
