curlfro 04-08-2007, 09:44 AM Chocolate. lots of chocolate! That describes my Easter.
~ Chocolate is the best!!! I like to think of myself as a chocolate afficionado. I love dark, dark, dark, dark chocolate. I make home-made hot cocoa with three scoops of cocoa, two pinches of sugar, and half a cup of milk. It comes out too thick for most people, but it's perfect for me! :D Godiva is the god of chocolate. Dark chocolate Godiva truffle with just a tiny flavoring of strawberry. The ultimate candy. It's so rich you could become full just by eating one!
~~ Also, peanut butter cups are good. :p
Ascend_01 04-08-2007, 10:31 AM something tells me that your one of those people that are not supposed to have too much sugar...:)

There's no such thing as too much sugar, just when you're making chocolate.
~ The bitter the better.

Ascend_01 04-08-2007, 05:45 PM ohhhhh snap! hehehe:D
Negasie 04-08-2007, 08:02 PM Mine was all about the little kids, my neices and nephews....for about half an hour. Then the booze came out. And good ole aunts and uncles know how to drink!
There wasnt much candy involved, but there was a chocolate fountain and fruit and cookies and stuff, which was yummy. And then there was champagne and boatloads of exotic beer and wine. I'm not sure how i made it home but im here! hooray! :D

Ascend_01 04-09-2007, 06:51 AM chocolate fountains are the best. we got one on sale, and damn its fun. one time i took a plastic cup and filled it halfway with chocolate. :D best idea ever!

Negasie 04-09-2007, 12:58 PM You've never seen those chocolate fountains Curlfro? Theyre so cool man, my cousin got married a few months ago and it was one of his wedding gifts. They're so much fun to use and you can make some yummy stuff.
But you can never say screw the booze in my family. Over half the food budget for these family gatherings is for booze. But they don't shop smart. If it were up to me, I woulda bought the champagne and wine at Costco, and I woulda gotten a keg for beer. But they buy everything at Bevmo and pay like twice the cost. OH well though cant complain over free drinks.
super man 04-09-2007, 01:29 PM good ole costco, its like a second home for my family.
And my family is pretty much the same way with drinking you could give them a cup of lemonade and they would some how get drunk of that.
and whats with these chocolate fountains ?!?! iv never seen one of those but they sound pretty sweet !

No, we're not the "extravagant" type. For example; My aunt had a Wedding . . . in our backyard. People weren't even dressed up. (I wore jeans and a button-up . . . not tucked in) and all there was was cheap wine and tiny things of bubbles. But it is nice to be able to see the family and have it be less formal and more friendly. :D
Ascend_01 04-09-2007, 07:48 PM i like it when things are casual... no monkey suits.
