umm, yeah. go to your local game store, and check how much a playstation is. i could get one for about 50 bucks.

dang ur lucky. i live in a smaller town of 8000 so our local game store is well....wal mart lol. they are still 150 there for a brand new one. im wanting to only spend 100 tops for brand new but i might be waiting a while.

Just get a used one for a bit cheaper if you really want one. The used ones are as good as the new ones.

Chances are the price won't drop not for awhile anyway. I read somewhere that Playstation 2's are selling pretty well still.

eventually itll get lower in proce but get tihs....the xbox is $150!! thats already HALF as much when i bought it...i guess that means ps2 is still pretty hot

well lets see they already dropped the price recently so another drop isnt on the horizen yet. but if you can id look in to buying an old ps2. i hear the flat ones over heat if you play them to long. but other than that you can get the big ones cheaper.

absolutely they'll drop but no one knows when so i would get rid of the PS2 if ur planning on buying a PS3 but otherwise i would hang on to them if u plan on purchasin the PS3 later on but the price may be to low so remember u can play PS2 games on the PS3 system so after the purchase theres no need for the PS2

I don't plan on BUYING a PS3 anytime soon, but I know there will be contests out there so I plan on WINNING a PS3.

i stopped by toys r us today to check out if the rumor that they were reserving wii's, when i stumpled on an xbox. the price 180 buck american. i cant believe microsft hasnt dropped the price yet.

well if there selling the systems at that price why not theres no point of shooting ur self in the shoe they do this because its common sense and a profit maker

yea but they are going to lose money on a system no matter when they sell it, game companys make all thier money in games, so if a system is sitting on the shelf they are losing potencial money. no one wants to pay nearly 200 dollars for a five year old system. then again it might just be Toys R Us selling it at that price.

chances are toys r us is selling at the same price as its competitors....when it comes to video games and general electronics, most comapnies are pretty consistent with pricing...but going back to sonic....hahha "only $100 more"....eh some of us arent lucky enough to own their own money tree or at least be lucky enough to find a $100 bill lying around lol...

lol wat happened was she was home alone and me and one of my friends got into her house through a window....my friend went to the fuse box and turned off all the lights...i had this monkey costume and crept into her room...i figured id scare the **** outa her...turned out that wily ***** was waiting for me by the bathroom and knocked my ass out (well sorta)....lol...so then it was like scooby doo and she unmasked me and kicked me where the sun dont shine...hahah...i deserved it lol

well like i said before...no serious teenager goes there so i guess they dont focus TOO too much on the electronics/video game department...so that leaves the legos and barbies and what not to be in competition with other stores...but i actually wanan research whether or not their prices are higher than other stores

anyone knows how trade-ins work? or does it depend on the store? cuz im thinking about trading in my xbox and my games and my 5 controllers to get a 360....any idea how much that might cost me after all that?

you really lose alot of value. you might get 50 dollars for the xbox and maybe like 5 for the popular games and even less for the decent ones. i dont think ive ever traded any games or systems in my life.
