View Full Version : PS3 Bundled accessories?
top_dawg 12-28-2005, 11:53 AM Does anyone know of a possible package that the PS3 could come in, sort of what the X-Box 360 comes with. I found some info that says it will come with various accessories like a HDD with playable games, movies, and and so on saved on it. But then on other sites and in interviews with developers, they say that there are no plans for a bundled package. Can anyone confirm this?
PS3_Master 12-28-2005, 12:00 PM There won't be an official package similar to the xbox 360 sony has stated..
There will however be a lot of accessories to come with it at launch day from what I hear I personally would perfer if sony will do a package set so we can get the parts cheaper.
I was thinking of getting a HDD for online gaming, but I think we might not need it since PS3 suppose to have out of the box online ability. So HDD's might not be a must for on line gaming.

PS3_Master 02-08-2006, 10:33 PM I doubt it will come with anything to begin with, just like the Xbox 360. You didnt get squat until a few months after it was released, and if you were lucky enough to find a package deal, they sold super quick.
giova07 02-18-2006, 06:52 PM ok i can wait
reticulator 03-09-2006, 04:49 PM The package will be ALOT lol.
madmoomoocow 03-10-2006, 07:49 AM Yeah, I have been waiting for info on the bundles for a long time.
reticulator 03-10-2006, 03:48 PM I hope when it comesw with the games they are a sizeable discount since the games will cost about 60 dollars.

Its doubtfull that this will be the case. In all honestly there probably wont be a bundled package. If there is one, it will only be a buldle deal from the store, for example you buy the PS3 and three games, and they will throw in a free controler. Thats about it.

i hope the HD does better than it did with the PS2. yes, the ps2 did have a HD hardware for it. But, no one bought it.
psplaya 03-12-2006, 12:53 PM There was some talk of an external hard drive a while back. I dont think it was ever confirmed though. the PS3 will have onbboard memory, as to weather it will be able to save loads of data, I'm not sure.
There has also been lots of talk regarding the Playstation Hub (PS3 Online service) offering an itunes like service. So there has to be some way of saving data to the PS3 or an external drive.
mac10 03-14-2006, 08:14 AM I hope it comes with a hard drive and maybe a few playable demos.
Philament 03-21-2006, 05:21 AM I'm hoping they put together a bundle pack or at least give us a few accessories with the console.
Yeah, I always like to get some acessories with my console. A second controler would be really nice as well but that might be too much to ask.
mac10 03-22-2006, 04:04 AM I doubt they would give us a second controller, but if they did i'd be forever grateful.
Justinian 03-26-2006, 07:01 PM i heard that it was confirmed that sony would have a 60gb harddrive for all ps3's so tis not optional. That would be ausoem if it came with 2 controlers that way i would ahve 3 if i inculde my future psp!

I kinda dont think the PSP will work as a controler. Ony one analoge stick would make for some really crappy gameplay.
Justinian 04-02-2006, 10:57 AM well not really mabe there might be a shft control or sometin for the r and l but hopefull y the'll amke a psp modle with a 2nd analog stick
