View Full Version : For people who can't afford to buy an HDTV (like me)
temporal_zulu 03-18-2006, 07:52 PM This site offers free instructions on how to build your own HDTV projector for less than $500 that rivals top manufacturers' units. I'm gonna start mine in a month or so :D
LumenLab (http://www.lumenlab.com/)
Good luck! I just hope you dont burn down your house!
temporal_zulu 03-18-2006, 08:07 PM lol thanks, shouldn't be a problem, I'll just triple the cooling requirements suggested in the instructions :D
temporal_zulu 03-18-2006, 08:24 PM With this site you have to pay for a premium membership ($19.99) to access the forums and upper grade supplies and info for really good projectors...dont worry, I've already subscribed and registered so any info you guys need that comes from the benefit of a premium membership I will share with you :)
Brainwashed 03-19-2006, 06:20 PM I've been wanting to be able to build something like that, but I'm going to be moving in the fall, and I don't want to move something like that...so hopefully once I get settled down somewhere, and I get some money and free time, I'll build something like that.
Let us know how it turns out!
Why, how big does something like this turn out to be? So big you would have to leave it behind if you moved?

is that legal?
Doesent sound legal. Meh.
temporal_zulu 03-27-2006, 01:34 AM i wouldnt think it any more illegal than teaching you how to make homemade chaf boyardee
I doubt that these projection home-brewers have any patents on the procedure, its more of a guided assistance in optics

Homemade Chef boyardee!!!!!!!!!! Tell me where to go!
temporal_zulu 03-29-2006, 09:07 AM its simple, you just add 2 parts condensed tomato paste, with 2 parts water, then simmer for 1 hour, then add the pasta, 3 parts salt and about 5 parts MSG :D then you're almost ready to poison a small neighbourhood of children with the Chef's own brand of wanna be arsenic
Boyardee is terrible stuff, dont let it get ya
I really dont think I would want to try to make that on my own. Last time I cooked I ended up setting an oven mit on fire. I will never BBQ again.
temporal_zulu 03-30-2006, 11:02 PM lol, well as long as you didnt turn up as the main course then all is well :D don't follow my recipe anyway, I was overapplying the sarcasm trying to emphasize the part about the MSG anyway...bad stuff
MSG Info (http://www.msgmyth.com/)
besides, anything that scientists use to make lab rats morbidly obese can't be good for ya ;)
curlfro 04-01-2006, 04:46 PM anyone else wanna flame the chef? *holds a gun to temporal_zulu's and AA7's head*
temporal_zulu 04-04-2006, 12:30 PM hey bro, if you're a big fan of MSG then by all means snort the sh!t, I just believe in caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) :D
Why is there a gun being put to my head?
Justinian 04-04-2006, 04:53 PM hey bro, if you're a big fan of MSG then by all means snort the sh!t, I just believe in caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) :D
i did'n't quite understand what u were saying
temporal_zulu 04-05-2006, 01:10 PM I'm just underscoring the fact that Chef Boyardee products are full of MSG (http://www.holisticmed.com/msg/), and if you like the stuff, which I do but rarely ever eat anymore, I think you should be aware of it. If it was that bit of latin that confused you, then caveat emptor means let the buyer beware, so dont call the fellows in white jackets to come get me just yet, I wasn't just making up words lol
btw, I'm diabetic so I have a thing, I suppose you could call it one of many passions, for knowing whats in foods and I absolutely hate it when food companies try to include dangerous and unnecessary ingredients that only go towards upping the stock prices of the pharmaceutical companies. Notice how everyone has health problems these days, or is overweight, it's what's in the food and water ... or whatever drinks, but I'll spare you all the lecture and I wont get started on that lol.
Justinian 04-05-2006, 05:06 PM ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhk! ;)

curlfro 04-06-2006, 02:22 PM huh? wahts that suppposed to mean?

temporal_zulu 04-06-2006, 05:23 PM keep in mind that anyone can teach, but not all are truly worth learning from.
So many "educators" pose the idea that humans are above or apart from nature, while it is continually being found scientifically, spiritually, and logically that any idea of division in the universe, or multiverse, is merely the grandest illusion of the mind. It is not simply the ideology or opinion of a particular socialist group i.e. humanists, etc. but is a blatant fact and condition of our holographic "reality".

that flew over my head.

lol, dont feel bad bro, its revolutionary thinking for what most would refer to as modern ideology. I'll slightly simplify. Most people would agree that we, our houses, our cars, the earth, and most things we can identify in the universe are all made-up of atoms. Well, what are atoms? Collections of subatomic particles..right? What are those made of? Depending on your view of life and or science, either even smaller particles i.e. quarks, gluons, etc. or collections of packets of densified energy. Lets zoom back out to the scope of the atom. In "reality", atoms are in fact mostly "empty space". From the perimeter of the electron cloud to the atomic nucleus is all empty. Well, atoms and its constituent "particles" are not the billiard ball spheres as seen in most of the past atomic models, they are more like vortices of energy or aether. What is apparently "empty space" around and inside of atoms, as found in the vast depths of space, is actually a rithing sea of aetheric energy. This energy is the same energy that drives our consciousness. The universe IS consciousness! We are more like dreams within the dream of the collective consciousness, the one great mind. Many physical effects can only be explained by this level of understanding, and it is difficult, but nevertheless possible and prudent. If you desire more knowledge on these topics, let me know and I'll try to accomodate with sources and pertainant info. Just know that what George Lucas refers to as the "force" is a mirror of what IS in our universe. The force is consciousness, and we are the holographic representations of this. Death is not an end, but the beginning of yet another chapter of our multidimensional
selves.
Some info and videos on these topics can be found on my FTP server, the connection info to the server can be found in the "this is horrible" thread, post #9. Lemme know if there are any problems connecting,

wow, this seems like something cunfusius would say. deep man, very deep. (or woman)
temporal_zulu, you need followers. I know, will start or own philosify! well call it; zuluism!
but in all seriousness, that does make sense to me now. thnx!
temporal_zulu 04-07-2006, 09:07 PM thx for the sentiment bro, although one can not lead in unity, we must all walk together. We are quickly coming to a new age of awakening, a new renaissance, in which all science, philosophy, and thought will become one, in a greater understanding of the true nature of our reality. All that has been hidden will be revealed.
Justinian 04-08-2006, 07:12 AM i'm srry temporal but i can not join ur cause
