Today I was really tempted to buy the xbox 360 straight off. They have the oblivion demo and it is just mind blowing. I have enough cash for the 360 and with the ps3 coming out in november, I can't take it. I am gonna buy it!! Give me a reason why i shouldnt buy it!

GIVE IN! I just bought oblivion and it is without any bit of an understatment THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. Ever. Seriously if you were saving up for a PS3 I think those savings need to go towards a 360. Sorry to sound like a total betrayer but this game is the best game ever. Ever.

Yep, I gave in. I reserved a 360 the for next time a shipment comes to the local EB. When that happens I'LL have my 360 :)

if your're a fan of sports games, don't buy it. all of the sports games for the 360 are terrible. look at my post on "Xbox 360's sports games." also, most of the graphics (especially if you don't have an HD tv) look no better than you're average Xbox game. the graphics for next-gen gaming are there (in some games) but the gameplay is still playing like current gen. so, if you want a console that has minor improved graphics over the Xbox, current gen gameplay, and tons of content missing from all their sports title, then you should pick it up today.

I just got it, I got oblivion with it and it is AWESOME. Honestly if the ps3 can do better than oblivion with any of its games, I will be amazed.

You should buy one just for that game, bro. It is sweet, well actually I don't have it but I think the graphics in screenshots look amazing. Not even to mention the gameplay of rpg that will come with it and the enourmous world exploring. yeeaah...it is awesome i'm sure.

Oblivion is a definate must buy. And about your 20-30 good games.........I really think that we are getting really close to that. With amazing game like PGR3, GRAW, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo and Oblivion this console is really starting to take off, big time.

i just played the demo at Best Buy and I already don't like it. It was originally supposed to be a Gamecube title, then an Xbox title, and now it's a 360 game. it just didn't make the transition.

I really liked Kameo but I think that was mainly because it really reminded me of Rare's old games like Banjo Kazoie. I am also a huge Rare fan. If you like their old stuff chances are you would like Kameo.

Kameo is really a kiddy game. Kids 13 and under will probably love it, but at 16 im past the targeted demographic for kameo.

As I said before, If you liked Rare in the days of the N64 you will love this game. It is a bit immature in some places but overall it is a fun game.

Yeah, Good choice on reserving a 360 and getting it. It's worth the money. Yeah, it's true not everything now is Next Generation but the system just came out. What's wrong with giving it time to work out it's problems. I really despise people who base a system on it's launch games. Ps2 had awful launch games but it still was a big hit. Give it time, everything needs time to be used at it's full potential. You don't become a professional football player the first time you touch a football.. If you know what I mean.

I like the football analogy. But he is right guys. Just cause a few of the 360's games are a bit crappy, dont hate the whole experience.
