I am thinking of buying RPG Maker 3 and some have suggested that I should buy a ps2 40 GB hard drive along with the needed network adaptor. Is this necessary? Sure a hard drive has more memory and no need to use up a lot of expensive memory cards, but I can't find a hard drive new that is cheap, and most of them come with Final Fantasy XI, which I don't want. Anyone know where to buy these things new for cheap? Or should I just suffice with memory cards?

Also, I just found out that the PS2 Hard drive that comes with Final Fantasy XI will not work with the slim PS2. Are there any hard drives suitable for the slim PS2?
