Why did Sony think that this was a good idea. Sure it was a cool idea but charging the same price, if not more than a DVD for a movie you can only play on a screen only a few inches big......thats dumb. So far this has been a big failure for Sony. Sales are way, way, way down for UMD movies. Many stores have even stopped carrying them and even Sony themselves are slowing producion of them. Why Sony, Why?

Hmmmm... good point. For sony it did seem like a good ideat at the start to get more money, but people didn't want them cause u can only play them on the psp.

I know sony might be trying to get a way to also play them on a TV. I heard that you could play a movie on a psp then it would be transfered onto the ps3 then to the tv lol! Now i just heard this form another forum i'm not sayin its true its jsut a rumor

they thought that it was a good idea at the time. look at the PSP's disign. 1 analog stick. wtf? some of the movies are good, though, since it's a high-def screen, but the slow frame-rate make really fast sequenses look almost like a really fast slide show.

Yeah fast sequences do look very poor. I watched Doom on the PSP and it sucked.

I liked it. In one part in the movie they do a shot like the movie is a FPS. That was really cool. Overall it wasnt a great movie, just plenty of mindless action. If you like the game you will probally like the movie.
