Here's a growing list of all of the E3 News about Sony and PlayStation!

During Sony's Pre-E3 Press Conference, Sony unveiled a brand new Killzone 2 (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21600.html) Trailer, featuring actual gameplay in real time. Now, the video unfortunately does not match the actual quality, as GameTrailers only is offering the video in standard definition and only available in Flash format.Based on what I've seen, almost all of the promises have are being delivered. The graphics are almost the same as the CG trailer unveiled over two years ago, with even better gameplay. You're enemies (the Helghast) are incredible realistic. They even die in real time. (No more floppy rag-doll physics.) There was a Helghast that was shot in the stomach, and it fell to it's knees, holding it's stomach, and then slowly collapsed to the ground, bleeding from it's stomach. That's what I call realism.) You have some team mates to help you through you're fighting, and they perform equally well. There is no set release date, but it will be coming out in 2008. There was no word on when a demo will be released to the public, but I'm fairly certain there will be one available on the PlayStation Store sometime in the relatively near future.
Konami has released another great Metal Gear Solid 4 (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21582.html) Trailer. Again, this video is currently only available in Flash format, and in standard definition. This time there is actual American voice acting, featuring all of the same voice actors as in previous years. There is no actual gameplay shown, but the trailer that was released was said to be gameplay quality graphics, which basically means that when you play the game, this is what it will look like. If that's true, it looks like us MGS fans won't be disappointed in what Kojima has stated as the last MGS game both he will be working on and the last one in the entire series. Again, there is no set release date for Metal Gear Solid 4, but the trailer stated that it will be available early 2008, unlike all the other trailers that said it will be available by 2007. This comes as bad news for Sony, for they are in need of a lot of good games as soon as possible, but I'm sure most people who want to play MGS 4 are willing to wait another couple months.
Sony has announced a new slimmer version of the less than spectacular PSP. Here is an image of the new PSP (http://www.ubergizmo.com/photos/2007/3/psp-redesign.jpg)I know, there really isn't much knew in the redesign. In fact, there is absolutely NO difference noticable by the naked eye. It is just merely lighter and slimmer than the previous PSP model. It will be sold for $199.99 USD, and be bundled with a copy of the hit game Daxter, along with a 1 GB Memory Stick Duo. There will also be a White PSP released along with it, and a limited edition Star Wars PSP, which has a vector image of Darth Vader on the back. I know, that's not that big of a deal, but I'm sure some Star Wars fan it jumping for joy somewhere.
