What is your most anticipated game for the PS3? Is there one you cant wait to get your hands on? I'm drooling over Killzone.

I agree 100 percent, Kill Zone has been catching my eye now for the longest time, and I cant wait to get my hands on it

Well I'm dieing to get my hands on Unreal Tournament, however its not going to be out for quite a while! I think Kill Zone will be a great one to come out as well. I havent played it yet, but from what I hear its one hell of a kick as game.

I'm a huge football (soccer for US) fan, so I can't wait to get the first fifa on ps3 :O

i've haven't played Metal Gear Solid game in my life... i hope to get MGS: Subsistence which is supposed to have MGS and MGS2 in it also along with online play... but yea the MGS 4 does look amazing... oh and another one that looks good is Motorstorm

The only thing though is that i'm not very good at FPS (its a curse, i swear) so if there is a lot of shooting instead of sneaking around like Splinter Cell then i may be screwed...

Yea, Its both good and bad GRAW wont be on ps2.

Bad is that youll have to wait a while if you dont have the 360 to enjoy it.

Good is that you wont see it in a watered down, crappier form. They couldnt do ALOT of the stuff they can do with it on the power systems.

Hey... your name is Mac... cool. MGS4 does seem to be top pick but there is lotsa different styles to chose from. Personally i like Platformers like Ratchet, Sly and Jak or Action/Adventures so Lair looks good to me and Splinter Cell: Double Agent looks good as well

i think alot of the EA sports nfl and ncaa football ones are going to be definatly anticipated and i thik a lot of people are going to look forward to the graphics from EA on the ps3 sports games.

MGS4 is lookin fantastic especially as a launch title although I've got my eye on Heavenly Sword too, looks sweet and great concept of massive melee warfare :D

Yep. MGS4 without a doubt. A bit farther behind that, would probably be UT2k7. And I'm sure there's a SOCOM in the works, so that as well.

I've also heard news about a sequel to Freedom Fighters (incredibly underrated game) being shown at this year's E3...hopefully it'll be next gen. Well, in either case, I'd get it.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Stranglehold is looking pretty classy too!

Am I not the only one who isn't excited about Killzone 2? I got the first one soon after it came out, and although it wasn't a bad game, it was mediocre. It felt very rushed and forced. It was just a lot of little things that really dragged that game down. Who knows, maybe Killzone 2 will do what the first one tried to do, and perhaps it will be a good game. But I'm not falling for the hype again, especially after seeing a lame pre-rendered cutscene.

I was excited about Killzone but when I found out that the entire trailer was pre-rendered I felt kinda betrayed. Im still loking forward to it but I think I am looking forward to RE5 more.

I'm not a big FPS fan like almost everyone else... i am waiting for Lair, Motorstrom and Warhawk

I'm looking forward to MGS4 primarily right now, though if Killzone approaches the visual quality of the trailer they showed, and had a somewhat more interesting storyline (to me) than the first Killzone did, then that would probably be it. Though I doubt it, it wouuld be quite nice.

I really want smackdown vs raw 2007 but killzone will be a good one i played the last and it was really good well thats all ive got to say for now.

I hope smackdown vs raw 2007 sells really well like the 2006 version plus i think it should be the most aticipated game for the ps3 this year cuz with the awesome graphics and amazingly well respones times the uniqe moves of your created charecter it the most amazing wrestling game in my opinion

I totally agree with you dude. If I had to pick two games to get on launch, they would be Resistance and Ridge Racer. Both games looks pretty sweet and they should be really good. The graphics I saw in Ridge Racer were pretty amazing.
Also, I know it's a long way away, but FFXIII is a must for me.

I'm drooling over Devil May Cry 4 (It is a PS3 esclusive right?) and FF XIII . Both are released pretty far in the future through T.T .

Well, FFXIII is of course at the top, even though it's like over a year, probably 2 years away. Assassin's Creed looks really good, and of course MGS4 is up on my list. It's a shame PS3 couldn't release one of their "staple" games for launch, but I'd rather they take their time and make it even better.

A must get game for me is a basketball game. I dont know which one to get either nba 07 or nba 2k7 but the graphics should look amazing.

I saw a trailer and gameplay footage for Assassin's Creed yesterday and OMG!!!! This looks like the best game ever created. It is simply stunning. Every crowd member is interactive and you can push them or whatever. Every building and architectural structure in the game is interactive and you climb them or jump from building to building. And of course the assassinations are amazing. Check out youtube for gameplay footage and a trailer. I'm peeing my pants for this game Stunning...
