So whats everybody's current favorite game? Mine has to be Oblivion, ive still barely scratched the surface of that game. What do others think?

Formula 1: Championship Edition has to be the best racer on the PS3 so far

at first it was resistance then i really got into oblivion i played that game for about 84 hours or so.But now i would have to say rainbow six vegas i love the tactical shooters.

Warhawk, action packed hardcore 3rd person shooter with awesome maps, vehicles you can drive, each ps3 is a server and it comes with a side order of me kicking your as$. lol just kidding i suck. But seriously its amazing.

This is the BEST baseball simulation out there this year. I cannot even mention it in the same sentence with 2K7, it is so much better. It is not the perfect game, but it is a great game. If you are a baseball fan it is your only option. I suppose if you own an Xbox, you are out of luck.

And yeah the PS3 harware looks good on paper but you need games.Spoke to a Sony sales rep who went on about wait till next year.Right !!!
Said to him one of the main reasons I was looking at buying a PS3 was Ace Combat series and guess what Sony lost it to xbox 360 Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation exclusive xbox 360.His reply was it was never a big seller for Sony anyway.Had to laugh !!!

Guess you guys would be hopefull for HUGE things from your over sized paper weight you PAID ENOUGH $$ for it.

Oh and forgot to mention Half Life developers Valve stated from the onset that The PS3 was a disater and Sony should start over from scratch.
At E3 media approached Valve again they stated that their comments remained cemmented PS3 is a disaster.They are developing Half Life 2 for xbox 360 and PC now and PS3 later.I would say much later by their comments.

Bash it all you want. Being able to play Metal Gear 4 and Final Fantasy XIII alone are worth the high costs of the system to me.

Guess if you dont know what Ace Cobat series is you havent had a PS1 or PS2 either.Hell the Ace Combat series is a flight sim jet combat by MAMCO,you my have heard of them, was exclusive to Sony but now totally exclusive to xbox 360 !!!

And yeah the PS3 is not just a gamming console it is a heavy paper weight gathering dust waiting for a descent game or two maybe.

Oh yeah and well not to mention The Blue ray alive and well very good reason to part with your big $$PS3 not just a console.
Across the internet news break if you do a search google Paramont/Dreamworks.
It gets ugly they have decided to drop Blue-ray and go total exclusive HD DVD format.They advised decision was due to the quality of HD DVD over Blue-ray and the cheaper production/hardware costs for its consumers.
ie Universal,Paramount,Dreamworks are now total exclusive HD DVD.
For those of you who are uneducated HD DVD is fully backed by Microsoft,Blue-ray being Sony.
ie the likes of Transformers,Shreak 3 will be exclusive on HD DVD format only.

Guess the extra $$ you guys paid for having a Blue-ray built in to the PS3 is well think about it !!!

Just a note Microsoft gave us a gamming console first and if you wish for US$179 extra you can attach via a USB a HD DVD player for HD movies.

You double posted!!!!! Ya well the ps3 is still getting good games and has good exclusives like Warhawk or maybe Lair (if you get the hang of it).

You can't even get Blu-Ray right. It's Blu-Ray not Blue-Ray. And for your information, latest statistics has Blu-Ray leading HD-DVD 66% to 33% (roughly) in terms of total sales. Also, stores such as JB-HIFI have gone Blu-Ray exclusive.

lol the funny part is i love blu-ray for its gaming capabilities! omg i cant watch shrek or some other little kid movies on blu-ray :O omg thats so sad cause i wasnt gonna watch em anyway! really i dont give a flying **** about hd dvd or blu-ray for movies, i have a ps3 and i love it based on what everything can do together, and with all that space on the blu-ray for extra in game **** it can do a ****ing lot! like negasie said, your only trying to convince yourself.

sorry for the double post again i forgot about the ace combat arguement, i had a ps1 and both modles of ps2 and i still dont know what ace combat is, guess i just never paid attention to the gay games that only people who like the 360 wouldve liked...

Best PS3 game is Enchanted Arms. And I'm being 100% serious. I really liked the game. It obviously is not the best rpg ever, but it was a fun experience. I liked the battle system a lot and the ability to control golems in battle. Resistance is good, but I'm biased towards rpgs.

BTW, I'm back. School has sucked...

The best I can describe it as is a thinking man's God of War. You can't win by button mashing.

I hate those button mashing games that take almost zero skill.

i have just bought a Ps3 4/5 days ago and well there is nothing worth playing!!!!
Good old Xbox 360 is winning hands down for me, where do i start... well Oblivion mmmm last time i looked it was out on xbox ages ago GRAW 2 mmmm ages RB6....eh ages thats just the games...... eh no force feedback controlers no voice mail...and on and on and on so i think i have payed £425 / $864 for a bluray player luckly i have lot of cash or i would be pissed right off never mind

oh and the shop suck as well oh no sorry the US one is not to bad

And also, the ps3 has amazing games. Some people just don't want to give it a chance. I hate the 360, thats my opinion, but im getting one just for halo 3. I think the ps3 has better graphics, games are improved (oblivion has way faster loading times on ps3), free internet, awesome games, etc.

Also, the threads not if you think the games are good, just which you like the best. And also, no one's going to take your argument seriously if the only punctuation in your whole post is "!!!".

There is alot of good games out they may just not be your type and there is ALOT of amazing looking games coming out. Im not even going to begin the list because i would be here all night, any body here would agree with me. Metal Gear Solid 4 alone will be a huge one for everybody.
