View Full Version : Memory Usage
Justinian 04-08-2006, 10:35 AM yes i have another question about the psp since i'm getting a psp very soon.
Do any of u who have a psp use Sonic Stage and does it wrk and how much space does it take off?
I also wld like to know the folwing amount of mb these saves take up:
2 hr movie
15 min to halfhour tv show
100% game save
Average Portal
2 min music
Photo
srry for all these questions :(
I dont know about how much memory any of this takes up but you do know that the PSP doesnt have a hard drive. The more stuff you want to keep the more crappy memory sticks you will have to buy, and they arent cheap. Not at all.

Yeah a 512 would be good. Expensive but good. Also are you even sure that you can put movies on the memory sticks, I kinda dont think you can, wouldnt that infringe on some copyrights or something.

You can put movie traliers or clips or even downloaded movies(illeagly) on your PSP but there is no leagl way to put a full movie on your PSP or on one of your memory sticks. That would go under the "Illegal Reproduction" clause we all see at the begining of every movie.

i may be wrong, but i believe as long as you have bought the movie legally, and you don't sell it to others, its legal.

A four gig would be soooooo expensive. That would be a big chunck out of your PS3 fund!
Justinian 04-23-2006, 08:18 AM yea it is really exspensive it 279.99 us at lik sang i'm definatley not getting one of those two expsnesive
ok dont know much, but have tried it and it works... u download dvd rips from p2p sites. i use bit comet. then its on ur computer and u have to use software that converts it to mp4, the software u can also download or buy at best buy or walmart... just type in psp video converter is search. i am terrible at computers but i did it. its cheaper than going to buy umd's and u can just delete em and keep using same memory card. however i am having problenms getting them to play on my ps3. for some reason all other media shows up with photos and music, but says no video. oh and get the 1 gig cuz most movies are about 700 - 800 mb. i aslo have things like music videos, porn... on my psp. so as long as u can play it on ur computer, i have had no problem playing it on my psp
flubbachany 08-07-2007, 10:53 PM Get a 1gb to be on the safe side. Heaps of places have them for pretty low prices nowadays.
*Hint: Don't buy at retail stores, buy online, or at computer wholesalers or places like that
jacky001 05-31-2011, 05:01 AM You are interested in how the Google Chrome 3.0 Dev, Firefox 3.5 RC, Safari 4.0 for Windows, and Opera 10b web browsers manage memory on the Windows Vista operating system over moderate usage, such as with 150 top web sites. These numbers can be measured but there are complexities involved in measuring memory. Here we look at a program that simulates a user visiting the top 150 web sites from Alexa from the command line, with visits occurring at short but varying intervals in many tabs.
