I took apart my PS3 controller to clean, and was thinking about painting it but when I took it apart the R2 button slipped off of the thin mother board type plastic so I stuck it back in thinking it would be ok and now the R1 and R2 buttons don't work. Is it broken forever or am I missing something? Please help. Thanks.

Why were you cleaning something that's sealed?

Because something spilt on it, and I was more worried about the effects down the road of it sticking and I wanted to make sure it was fully cleaned. Then the thought of re painting it came into mind if the controller was already going to be taken apart.


Can anyone answer my question though?
