My Ps3 wont let me go online on any Ps2 games yet my store,browser and Ps3 games all work fine online,i try to go on my ps2 games and it to tells me it cant detect a modem /connection, its kinda frustrating being its kind 3 days old ....oh btw i own the 80GB:confused:

I think, but I'm not sure, that you need a PS2 account to play PS2 games. But I don't know how to create one. I can try this later today or research it for you.

Did you put the network start up disk in. Because you need to, if you want to play ps2 games on your ps3.

Are you using wi-fi?
I think you have to use an ethernet cable to play ps2 games fine online on the PS3. I dont know for sure, but i think i remember reading somewhere that PS2 was used to people having to have the cable to play online on that console, not sure. Get back tell me iff it's ok.

There isnt a network disk for ps3 matt GEEZ. But I dont know of any places to get the network disk except if it came with your ps2 or you bought the network adapter for your big bulky old ps2. Also there is some games with built in network disks. Such as Socom 1,2,3, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Jak X combat racing, Midnite Club 3. There is a list on the playstation website somewhere. I'm trying to find it. But I also think I posted on another thread the link. Maybe.

No me and matt never got talladega nights. And there wasnt any disk at all that came with the ps3.
