i couldn't explain it better myself. nintendo's killing themselves before they've even failed. wii sales are gunna be worse than the GameCube sales, and you really have to suck to get worse than that.

I know a couple of people who said that they aren't getting it just because of how dumb the name sounds. Its gonna need to have some vicious games to boost it's rep back up if a lot of people are feeling that way.

no offense, but if you dont buy something cause the name is stupid, then your an idiot. it is just a name. i honestly think the system has a good chance of beating the 360 and the ps3. there are a whole lot more of them to start with, they can make more faster, and they seem to have a pretty solid line up of games. and its only 250 dollars. now i admit, if the controller doesnt work right (laggy, hard to control/get used to) the system could die faster than the virtual boy. but from the feed back the entire gaming and media industries are giving back (yes even sony admits the system looks cool) its gonna be pretty good. anyway you all sound like fanboys. theres nothing to say that both the ps3 and the wii wont rock, or that you cant own both at one time.

Now do I think it'll be better than the PS3 and the 360, it has a good chance but I don't think so, (but thats a matter of opinion) but it will most likely be the first next gen system I get since as you said it is the cheapest

I prefer the Revolution as well, but I honestly don't care what it is called. As long as it delivers good games and is an innovative system, then that's all that matters to me. Plus, there are constant jokes and puns you can make with the Wii name. I can't wait for this system to come out!
