Okay, so i just got my PS3 2 days ago and I want to play my PS2 games on it (60gig PS3). I'm trying to find if there's any way to transfer the files to my PS3. I have a few tools at my disposal such as:
HDL and Retail HDA for HDloader
USB ThumbDrive
WinHiip

My original hope was that if i can use HDloader to transfer the saves from my ps2 onto my usb(100% possible), then maybe i could take my usb and put the info into the PS3's imaginary memory cards. Only problem is I dont think it's possible with my fresh-out-of-the-box PS3.

So is there anyone who has done this before? Or are there any steps im missing but im on the right track?

I think its just worth getting the MC adapter. Because I don't have any knowledge of any other way and if you don't know either it could be risky to do.
