I was hoping someone might be able to assist me here. I am currently in Iraq with little to no internet connection I mean I have enough to get on but when it comes to playing games not gonna happen. So me and the guys all have PS3's hooked up to a switch all network info is set and correct we can all get online but when we try to do anything MP we can't see each other. Does anyone know what we might be able to do to initiate a LAN party?

First you have to have a game of which you can do that. I know in Warhawk and UT 3 you can. In the game you go to where it says LAN then one of you guys create a game and everyone else joins it. I have done it before and recall it like that.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I know how to start the LAN game but when I host a game nobody else can see it. We have the newest updated versions both using the same switch so not sure why we can't link up are we missing something? Do you have to use a router? Or is there a setting somewhere inside the network settings we are missing?

I always thought you just needed to be on the same network. Thats all in know. I could do it if you bought me a ticket to Iraq and i did it for you:)
