.... i don't know that anyone has tried, but if u didn't, u can use ur eye toy as a webcam/microphone, just by hacking some drivers from d-link.......
i found this out when i noticed that logitech makes the eyetoy, but no drivers for it.....

ya, but if u did own one.... you could be like me and save 30 or 40 bucks on a webcam and microphone, and hack some drivers to maye ur eyetoy work....

ur not gonna destroy it........ you just have to "hack" (i use the term lightly) some drivers from d-link.....
if u follow the instructions..... u would know that u download a certain driver, open it with notepad, edit some of the values in there, then save changes and install driver......
it's pretty easy

Uhhhhhh.......... this is gonna be hard....
drivers are ..... kinda like ...... thingys, that allow another thingy to play/function properly on the computer.
it's like a note attatched to the program that tells the computer how to run the program.... and what the program does.....
