Yesterday, Sont held their annual pre E3 conference, laying out their game plan not just for the PS3, but for the PSP, PS2 and their digital media formats.

With that being said, the PS3’s release date has been set for November 11 in Japan, and will also be released in North America, Europe, and Oceania November 17. Two official versions of the console will be released, one retailing for $499 US and a second for $600.

The cheaper of the two consoles will come with a 20 GB hard drive, will lack wireless capabilities, and not be able to output true HD as does not come with the built in HDMI. The premium $600 version will come fully loaded. Locked and ready to rock.

i would need HD for my next-gen games. there just aren't enought T.V. channels that offer HD, so i can't show it off very often.

i'm a little *****y right now, so let me yell......

quit whining!!!!! 20gb is better than none...... i (and everybody else) have lived with wired controllers, so what's the difference..... Sure, wireless controllers would be really really really nice, but you don't need them

second.... who cares about HD??? I dont' even know somebody with one..... (but i guess that doesn't mean u don't have one) I could live without HD, but it would be ok to have the OPTION to use it....

anyways..... a little rough, but my opinion none-the-less......
