Hi! Does anyone here know if I will brick my North American PS3 if I were to try and install Firmware 2.35 for UK/European PS3s? My PS3 already has the North American firmware, so I guess I'm asking if there's a way to do a fresh install of the firmware somehow, and if the European firmware will work on my PS3.

I'm pretty sure they do the same thing. But I wouldnt reccomend it you never know what can happen.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm also worried about restoring a hard drive back up, because if it has any remnants of the old OS after I load in the new OS, it might mess it up...
