Here's a new project from Ben Heck. It's a ps3 portable laptop. Install linux, take it to class, and impress all the girls with muscle you will develop from the 16 lb weight.

Some quick specs:

* Original 60 gig PS3 model with backwards compatibility.
* 17″ HDTV 720p screen, with HDMI connection. (Same as last Xbox 360 laptop)
* Built-in keyboard and stereo audio amplifier.
* Measures 17″ x 13.75″ x 3″ (actually thinner than a stock PS3) and weighs 16 pounds!

Yeah its pretty amazing, he even made a tutorial on how to make it.

Yea that guy is a genuis. Anything he does he makes a manual for it like the ps3 laptop, xbox 360 laptop, wii laptop. He even makes it sound like everybody can do it...but its pretty complex.

^Yeah I could never make any of that stuff, and if I did it wouldn't work because somewhere along the lines I would fry a chip or something.

i like how he makes the custom consoles then sells them for charity :P
