If you haven't played Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, go do yourself a favor and spend the 30 bucks to buy that game. After doing that, you'll be all set for Persona 4! Persona 3 is one of my favorite games, so I am ecstatic for Persona 4. It's set to release on Dec 9th. It's a dungeon-crawling rpg with simulation of a social life added. I can't really explain it because I'm lazy, but Persona 3 is certainly one of the better games on the PS2, and Persona 4 will be much of the same just with a new story and characters added. I'm really looking forward to this game. Any thoughts?
Here's a very basic summary from ign.com:
Persona 4, another in renown and award-winning Shin Megami Tensei series, is a riveting murder mystery RPG featuring an entirely new cast, loads more story, content, action, and depth. Shortly after an urban youth begins a year-long stay in the countryside town of Inaba, the rural towns peace is shattered by a horrific murder that leaves no clues or suspects. As the lone incident develops into a series of bizarre crimes, he discovers that only he and his friends have the power to solve the baffling case, bring those responsible to justice, and restore harmony to his new home.
