Ive recently modified my sixaxis, I changed the 4 leds at the top for 0603 blue smd led's. I also added an 0603 below the ps3 button and conneted the positive to the motion controller positive and the negative to terminal 5.

They all work fine.

Problem is my rapid fire kit which is working, but the LED 4 (indicates what mode im in) is so dim you carnt see it when the controller casing is on. Is the demand for controller number LED, PS button LED, microchip supply and the rapid fire mode LED too much for the controller?

And is there away around this?

sorry for the essay.

The power draw from LED's is so incredibly low, that the control could probably power 100 of them without any issues.

The LED your using isnt the same type of LED though that was tested when making this mod. Are you using a resistor with the LED? If not, this could be the cause of the problem. I'm not sure about thee LED your using, but most LED Lights require a resistor to work properly.

There may be an underlaying issue here with your controlers battery not holding a full charge. Thats the onlything I can immagine would cause this kind of issue.
