View Full Version : Call of Duty 3 Details Emerge in EGM

http://www.ps3court.com/images/moh2.jpgIn the latest edition of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), a few new details on call of Duty 3 emerged. The newest installment of this thrilling series will feature some major advancements in its game engine.

Call of Duty 2 will also have some advancements in its multiplayer mode which will improve game play. One of the most interesting features included we is the ability to play as either an America, Canadian, or British soldier, or as part of the polish resistance, as well as Interactive foliage.

The new features are as follows:

- Play as Americans, British, Polish Resistance, and the Canadian Army
- Trees and grass will move with the wind
- More than 24 characters on screen at one time
- Characters move more realistically
- In game system has been rebuilt
- Interactive foliage (e.g. grass remains flattened when walked over)
- Scorch marks left from grenades
- Surface-specific reactions to bullets
- Destructible cover
- Wind-altered smoke (from smoke grenades)
- Smoke clinging to tanks
- Bullets manipulating smoke clouds

As for the new multiplayer features, players will be able to use split or single screens, play up to 24 other players online and track their scored through online leader boards. Call of Duty 3’s multiplayer mode will also feature new vehicles and allow players to choose their specialties such as, Medics, Snipers, Infantry men, and so on.

Both PlayStation and Xbox 360 versions will include these advancements Going forward it looks as if Call of Duty 3 will continue to provide the same great storey lines as pervious versions.

I'm looking forward to Brothers in Arms: Hell Highway more than COD 3. I just like how much more stategy is needed for it.
