Yes but everyone that you refer will be competition, so in the long run your chances will probably be hurt by referrals.

I like your referals idea. However reticulator is right, If we want to win this we dont want any more competiton than is nesicary.

no it does not u must 1st get at least 50 posts to get 1 etrie and then each additionla 10 posts get u 1 more entrie

and every time u reffer someone u get an entrie

oh and u can only get 36 entires from posts to make it fair to noobs

ok everyone heres the answers to some of your questions.
1st) teh first 50 posts count as two entries not five
2nd) 390 posts will give you the maximum 36 entries you can get from posts.
3rd) you can get additional entries if you refer someone to the site and they pecome an active poster.
hope that answers everyones questions.

well its kind of confusing. he confirmed that the first 50 posts give you 2 entries. but then his examples were all like this: "200 posts gives you 20 entries". but if the first 50 only counted as 2, then 200 posts would actually only count as 170. so you lose 3 ballots with the first 50 posts, so you have to subtract 3 entries from 1/10 the # of posts you have. so to get 36 posts (the max # of ballots for posting), you need 390 posts.

well thats interesting ok a long time a go i did the calcuualtions with 1 post = 50 posts then every 10 and it seems to work out

I doubt it. It would be pretty cool, though. (My parents say we're going to get one in January when we get a tax refund, but I highly doubt you could just walk into a store and by a PS3 by then.)

The winners will be announced on the 17th at 2000 Hrs PST. The console is not in our hands at this time as none of the retailers have yet received it. That being said, our soponsor has the console set aside on the date of delivery. It will be sent out the following day.
