i dont if this is true or not...but someone told me that halo might be released for the playstation? is halo not exclusive to the xbox?

no halo will never, never be on the playstation. it is microsofts biggest game and they would never let it go to the playstation.

Much like Sony Computer Entertainment publishes alot of the games on the playstation consoles.

Microsoft as far as i know has no binding contract on bungie. But its more of microsoft has helped them create both of the before games so i doubt they would screw microsoft.

but im sure they dont have any rights to it....sure they helped develop it but bungie is the company thats in charge and i dont think microsoft owns it...of course i could be all wrong but i bet microsoft is paying them a lot of money to keep it exclusively for their system

Well, it would still be cool to have Halo 3 on the PS3. If it did, Sony would get a lot more PS3's sold. Many 360 owners got it just to play Halo 3.

haha well a few years ago when the ps2 was still new, final fantasy had me convinced to get it....but as for now...halo is the only one...and even thats diminishing a little cuz i simply see no other REAL reason to spend 500+ for the console allong with the games, along with 3 more controllers, etc...

the unit looks like a piece of s*** junk designed by an amature give me two days and Ill design something way better. but other than that I would buy the unit because it has cool graphics

I'm tired of Halo, and I see under no cir***stances why Halo would be brought to Playstation, Xbox's biggest rival. People buy Xbox just for Halo I bet. So if Halo was brought to playstation, bye-bye Xbox. I hope it never happens, and I highly doubt it will.

online is not where its at...its at home with 3 of ur buddies...i cant think of one game thats so suited to play with ur friends for like 6 hours (aside from madden) and get REALLY intense and competitive about....capture the flag anyone?...anyone that knows wat im talkin about KNOWS those games are INTENSE hahahah

That's ignorant! I don't even think Halo would look or play well on the Playstation. Halo has a Micorsoft vibe to it. There's a lot of purple and green colors in the game, and it just doesn't seem like a Sony game. I know that mkes no sense, but it does for me, haha.

well since bungie is owned by microsoft. unless the xbox goes under, its not gonna happen.

yea Halo 1 took real skill even though you where limited on weapons choices to use. halo2 is more newbish but still fun to play with friends and not 8 years-olds screaming in your ear.

The pistol in Halo 1 was the greatest weapon ever created. It gave everyone a fair advantage despite its awesome scoping skills. At least you had a chance with the pistol if someone was sniping you. In Halo 2, you respawn and boom you've been sniped. Halo 2 takes no skill, just double wield or hoard the sniper and sword and you're good. Halo 1 for life!

The mere mention of Halo 2 online makes me wanna hurl. I played it so much, it's become sickening. The online is realy not fair, especially with the crap weapon you start off with and no scope on the pistol. The spawns suck, too.

Definately. Halo was really good, but not great. It just seemed like an above average Sci-Fi shooter to me. (Yes, I've played both online and off for hours, and I really didn't get into it. The offline was just a typical FPS, while online, at least what I played consisted of people just jumping up and down and shooting non-stop. I don't find that fun. I like taking cover, sniping, and flanking positions. Now that's fun for me.)
