Is it just me or are the graphics on the 360 consistently better in the forground? Just about every game iIve seen, what is right in front of you is far better than the distant stuff. all the FPSs I've seen (cant be specific sorry) or the games that have some sort of up close thing. The up close graphics or the guns or the grass and stone 2 feet in front of you has a far more levle of detail than the rest of the game.

the 360 has good graphics but i dont like their games the ps3 has the best of the best

I think its been mentioned on here in the past, but ever gamer has their own stly of games they like. Its seems as if every console bought by a gamer is decided upon by a few games. Alot of gamers will buy a console based on weather or not the game they like the most is available on other consoles. You wont see a die hard Halo gamer buting a PS3 because they cant play Halo on that console.

Yea but halo 3 is not coming out for forever. Im glad the halo fanboys will have to wait until we get the ps3.

Halo: Forerunner, the specifically named title of the next Halo, will indeed be stalled for a long time. But if you're really a fan of the FPS genre, then there's plenty of games to pick up in the meantime so who cares if we have to wait until you get your Ps3. Chances are, if I got the money, and Halo: Forerunner's release coincides with the Ps3 release, I'll pick them up on the same exact day. Though I highly doubt that's possible.

I agree - there are not enough interesting looking games for xbox 360 for me to wanna buy it. I would buy a ps2 all over again if I had an option.

True that, there are no games that interest me at the moment. Gears of War doesn't excite me anymore, and COD3 looks like it's going to be too different from COD2, and I love COD2. It looks more fast-paced and more Battlefield style. I don't like Battlefield at all. I'm sick of Halo as well, so Halo 3 can bite me at the moment. Still love my 360 though...

It's true, Madden blurs the background pretty badly...it's a nice effect if you see it out of the corner of you eye type of thing, but it's bothering to look at directly

my favorite game would have to be knights of the republic 2, and yeah the graphics on the x-box 360 just kick ass no matter what...but the ps3 will hopefully own it

I agree with you. November was the month everything came out and now we're at a stand still period. I wouldn't mind a Wii or a PS3 right now. Chances are I'll get the Wii.

its a technique that game designers use to save on processing power. usually they will have three sets of textures for everything, the most detailed graphics (also the ones that use more processing power) are used up close. at a certain distance they will switch to the less detailed stuff cause the objects get smaller. usually its not that noticable, but id imagine if your viewing it on an hdtv it would be easier to see.

xbox 360 has better graphics and games than the ps3 in my opinion...but we have to remember that ps3 has only been out for a couple of months...by august the ps3 should be doing really good.

Ps3 only has one game in 1080p and if u play the same game on the ps3 and 360 u can easily tell that the ps3 graphics are way better.

well some games have better graphics the PS3 it has been out over a year now but just wait this year will put xbox 360 to sleep

yeah it hasn't nearly got to its full potentials.

its going to be insne when they start coming out with new games...like the game with the worst graphics iv seen is warhawk and they dont look bad but ya

yeah warhawk needs improvement.
