Has anyone heard of the PC game Stalker (http://www.stalker-game.com/index_eng.html)? I've been waiting for it to be released for over a year! The developers keep puching it back farther and farther. (Some of you may know it as Chernobyl Obilivion (its since been renamed). I think its only coming out for the PC at this point, but if it gets ported to any gaming console its got to be a game to get.
Does anyone know an up to date release date on it?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R was originally based on Chernobyl (Which you may or may not know was the nuclear reactor in Ukraine when it was part of the USSR, blew its lid). Its basically mutants in the city of Chernobyl running around and killing everything, like Doom. The name has been changed. It used to be called Chernobyl - Oblivious.

I don't know yet, stalker isn't out but I bet this one will kick dooms butt. (Doom 3 I assume).

Lol I dont think there smoking anything over there. Theres only around 4 people allowed into the city because its still full of radiation. the highway through the city is still open to public travel though.
As long as you dont wander off the roadway, you are fine. Driving through the place gives you about as much exposure to radiation as a standard X-Ray apparently. But step into the grass and you'll get a dose larger then most people get in 10 years.
The game is only for PC at this point from what I know, but its still pretty sweet.
