Does anyone know where i can buy some clear ps3 buttons for the full led mod, if it could be in the UK it would be great as i live in England, but if need to would buy elts where. if anyone knows how to make their own i would be happy to try that too.

I really do not see any place making controller botton for the ps3 that are clear :/.. I think if you can mod the bottons yourself you can attach clear psp bottons to the controller.

Grind down the ps3 controller botton top face to the thickness of psp botton and then clean off the side tabs of the psp bottons using a hobbie filer and stick it together with epoxy. Do not try supper glue since it cause frost.


Take your time, use a dremel tool and hobbie file's and auto body sand paper to buff the parts that are dull from sandding.

Btw i see what you want to do, i used to do this on my xbox360 controller. XYBA led mod. It will drain your battery fast so i suggest not doing this or dropping a switch. I think a 120ohm 1/4watt resistor will help control the incondecents of each LED. and wire in parellel not in series

I do not have a spare psp bottons or i would have tryied this on myself before posting on your thread. Goodluck, post what end result, i might be able to help you even more.

I know its been long since anyone has replyed or checked on this thread, But i found a place where you can buy clear dpad, action botton, joystick for the ps3 controller with or without LED light and instructions to install.
