Is your current TV compatable with HDTV? If not, do you plan on upgrading before, after, or when you purchase your PS3? Is the PS3 being HDTV Capable a factor in yu purchasing an HDTV? Currently I own a small 19 inch Philips HDTV capable LCD TV.

I'm not all that interested in them right now, expecialy when you look at the price of any half decent TV. Maybe a projector HDTV would be worth it, but even those are worth like $3000. As far as i'm concerned, for those extra lines of resolution (Which I will probably never even notice anyways) its just not worth the money.

i wish a 50'' hdtv

I already got me a Pioneer 50" Widescreen Plasma HDTV baby. None of you have anything on that! hahaha I even have the HDTVbox to go with it. It only gets me like 8 channels in HD though.

All the HDTV's I've seen are still too expensive for my blood atm but I'm considering getting an HDTV-in PC card capable of displaying 1080p signals. I already have a 19" LCD computer monitor, might as well use it for the PS3 too :D

I Dont have one yet, but I will surely get a hdtv before the ps3 is released. I just need to find one that is cheap and also good.

I bought it at Staples. They had a hundred $ off sale and I was looking for a new TV so I bought it and I have nothing but great things to say about it! Amazing sound and unbeliavble picture quality! I can even hook it up to my laptop and use it as a giant monitor. I love it. Just head over to the acer site to check it out.

I wish I could get a HD TV, but my family probably won't have one for a couple years. As for myself, longer probably.

But if I had the money, I'd be getting one towards the end of the year...

Well I have in my family's living room we have a 46 inch t.v. that been around for like 8 years, and is pretty much braking down, so hopefully i'll be able to get a hdtv before ps3 comes out.

mayby once the dlp tvs get down to crt prices but no im not rich.
