http://www.ps3court.com/images/sce.jpgPhil Harrison, Sony’s President at Sony Computer Entertainment will be delivering his What’s Next meet in March at the Game Developer’s Conference and its said he will be revealing more details on the PlayStation 3.

In his main speech titled PlayStation: Beyond the Box, he is expected to deliver information on technical and creative aspects of the PlayStation 3 as well as business opportunities presented by the PS3 for Sony. Also scheduled is information on how Developers are thinking beyond the box with the PlayStation 3’s technology in order to broaden the user base and draw a larger PlayStation market in the sand. What does this all mean? Well if Sony is planning on launching an online network mirroring that of the Xbox Live and then some, they will increase sales of the PS3 by offering more then just a “gaming console”.

It is hoped the speech will also reveal more details for developers, which can be translated into vague ideas of what may be coming from the PlayStation 3 in the near future.

The conference will be held at the San Jose Convention Center, March 20th through to the 24th. The PlayStation: Beyond the Box speech is scheduled for March 22nd at 10:30 am.
