Pepito01226 02-11-2012, 06:25 PM wow love the digital pattern. What did you use? CptFancyPants 02-12-2012, 08:14 AM Hydro dipped it. Pepito01226 02-12-2012, 06:57 PM Hydro dipped it. Wow dude, thats great. How much did that cost? or did you do that yourself? I want to setup my own tank and activator. CptFancyPants 02-12-2012, 07:33 PM I did it myself. With the film and and the activator is was a little less than $100. Price really isn't the big issue, as I see it, it's the technique. It's very difficult to get right and I ended up wasting a a lot of film and activator before I got it. So maybe just keep that in mind and order extra. Yeh i see how difficult it can be on youtube. Its about timing and placement, i think the more you practice with curved and angled part the more you get to understandd how to center it properly. CptFancyPants 02-12-2012, 09:45 PM The biggest problem I had was getting the activator just right. Too little and the film won't liquefy; too much and it distorts and won't stick. Something I found that was good to practice with was empty wine bottles. Pepito01226 02-15-2012, 01:56 PM nice good idea again. I might get into hydro drip later on. I see they do have carbon fiber film which is great for my skull mod. |
