ive read that there is a possibility of a "super" edition of the doom series on the ps3. does anyone know anything at all about this? Is it going to be released at the same time as the console?

I saw a Dev interview about the Xbox port on gamespot.com. they said somthing about working with the Cell CPU. So there might be doom 3 port or doom 4. ID has not said anythign offical from what I know.

If they come out with a super edition of Doom, I am so there. Has anyone seen the movie yet? The original doom is still one of my faviourite games.... If only I could get it to play on my PC.

I have seen the doom movie. I just saw it the other day actually. It was aight, i thought it wuld have been better though.

That would be really cool but I do kinda have my doubts. ID has already said the the Xbox 360 would be their primary devolpment console for their upcoming games such as the next Wolfenstien and the next Doom games. If there was to be a Doom super edition it would probally be for the Xbox 360.

Yeah, I doubt Doom 3 will get to the PS3. If anything, it'll see Doom 4, or a new Quake.
