I just wanted to know how many people on this site will get a wii at release. My brother just got $300 to get a wii at realease so I will tell every one about it when he gets it.

I'm getting a Wii. I camped out for 7 hours to pre-order a Wii at ebgames. I ended up being number 11 out of 32 systems they are getting. I also got another pre-order where my parents live, but I'm selling that to a family member. I'm getting Zelda and Super Monkey Ball as well, and an extra Wiimote, nunchuck, and classic controller as well.

This one is on my Christmas list, but seeing as my parents aren't exactly people that would "camp" - they'll have to fall ass-backwards into a Wii to get me one.

Well, I'm pretty sure the Wii will much more plentiful during the holidays. I think they'll be a lot in stores, and even if they sell out during launch, I bet Nintendo will ship out more before Christmas. So even if you don't acquire one on launch, you could get one a couple weeks later. That's my opinion, as Nintendo will ship out a lot more systems.

Yea gettin a Wii should be easy it probably wont be sold out for week or so after it release. You probably be able to buy one online with no problem.

Anyone notice that the Wii went on sale at walmart.com? They were bundling the system with 4 games of your choice, and extra wii remote and nunchuck, and a 2000 wii points card. The price was 533.00 dollars. They're all gone now, but I was surprised to see it went on sale, because walmart was supposed to let me know when they were going on sale. Whatever, I already got two. Sucks it was a bundle, but at least you got to pick your games.

Yeah, it's the retail price I believe. I mean it's worth it, but it sucks you're spending 200 dollars extra just to get your hands on one. Some people can only afford 1 game. I don't like when companies force bundles on you, but at least walmart lets you choose your games.

Obivously they want to get more money from you and they know that people will buy the bundles just to get theirs hands on the system.

Exactly, and since you're not in their store, they can't pressure you into buying games and accesories along with the console. I think 4 games is a little excessive, but I can understand why they put bundles on the site. They know people will buy them, and they probably make most of their money off games anyway.

i havent decided if i want to get a wii or not....it doesnt look all that appealing to me, but i want someone to prove me wrong....should i get one or not, and how has everyone enjoyed their wii?:confused:

If you want to know more about the Wii then go to www.YouTube.com and search Wii to find a lot of good vids. You can also go to the www.nintendo.com and www.wii.com site for a lot of info. (Havent been to the Wii site but I think it has a lot of stuff worth checking out)

I'll definitely get a Wii here sometime soon. It may be around the same time I get my PS3.

Yeah, I'll be getting it. I'll hold off on games after I buy myself an HDTV for my PS3.

no im not getting the wii. it looks weak and my friend played and hes amazing at driving games and a good driver played it and said it was hard and he got annoyed in a couple minutes of playing it.

Well, the Wii's at my Wal-Mart sold out. I was going to pick one up next week, but I guess not.

Red Steel got really bad reviews on gamespot, but reviews are just someone elses opinion. I got my Wii at midnight at Ebgames and picked up Zelda, Super Monkey Ball, and extra Wiimote and nunchuck, and 2000 Wii points. Unfortunately I can't connect to the internet because my wireless sucks, but I'll be picking up a wireless router pretty soon.

Anyway, the Wii is freaking awesome! Super Monkey Ball is really fun and Wii sports is pretty cool as well. I haven't played Zelda because I don't wanna get involved in a long game while I'm playing FFXII. But I'll play it soon just to test it out and stuff. I love my Wii, no matter how freaky that sounded...

I donno why Redsteel got bad reviews. It is 10x Better then it looks! It is a very fun game. The controls are kinda hard at first but you get used to them over time. There are a few bugs like on one multiplayer level you can jump over a wall and fall to a place where it is hard for other people to kill you. It is a must have for any Wii owner! Exititruck is a hard game to get used to because of the controlls. Once you play a few rounds you will get the hang of it and feel like your driving a real truck! The concept is to get as many points as you can while getting to finish line to win. You crash preatty easily...like whenever you hit a tree. Its very fun for people of all kind. I suggest you get this game and see if you like driving games, if so then look for more driving games in the future. Now Zelda! Zelda is a VERY GOOD GAME!!! Once you play you can't stop! It has a lot of elements of the prievious games, but mostly Ocreana of Time. Although the ONLY problem I have is that the Zoras look different from the Zoras in the prievious games, and I mean Different. People need to buy this game as soon as they buy the Wii!!! Thats about it...Oh, and Wii Sports is a very good game and very very fun! it is a good game for you to get used to the Wii. Thats all!

ya i would get one but then i would feel like im leaving the ps3 out hahaha cuz theres no point in getting both at the same time you know

next on my list is a 360 then the wii.

ya the 360 is probably first on my list but only because i want halo 3 and halo wars when it come out next december
