Well this clarifies the rumor of the 360 being the only console with online play for Grand Theft Auto IV. The rumor started when Rockstars Don Mattrick stated: "It’s (GTAIV) an amazing piece of software and I’m really excited with its downloadable content and online multiplayer support. Again, that’s something that’s unique to 360." He added "We think consumers are going to love that and it’s going to create, what I would describe again as the premium experience on our platform."

 

This has gaming fanboys all riled up saying that the 360 was the only system with online and downloadable content. Rockstar has claimed this is a wording error and that indeed the ps3 will also have both online and downloadable content. I was hoping for online and it turns out I will get it for sure.
